Radoslaw Tobaczewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aureliusz Wojton's late challenge caught a Sośnica Gliwice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Czarni got a freekick which was hit by Aureliusz Wojton. 5 minutes into the match, Czarni's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacy Solarek came free, but Bogdan Golaszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Golaszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacy Solarek in the 7th minute of play. Feliks Waldoch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliks Waldoch struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Leonard Pochorylo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Czarni's Feliks Waldoch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonard Pochorylo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. But to his dismay, Feliks Waldoch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacy Solarek in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Golaszewski saved Czarni from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Feliks Waldoch took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Leonard Pochorylo to make any attempt to save it. In the 45th minute, Hugon Damazki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sośnica Gliwice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaroslaw Danisiewicz to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonard Pochorylo came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Czarni's Zbyszek Jerzyk. But to his dismay, Zbyszek Jerzyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When Feliks Waldoch came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Czarni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliks Waldoch couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Aureliusz Wojton put in a rough tackle. In the 60th match minute, Czarni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliusz Wojton to maneuver through the defense. Feliks Waldoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Pochorylo having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Sośnica Gliwice got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Bronkala. In the 69th minute, Stefan Brataniec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Pochorylo came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Czarni's Feliks Waldoch. But to his dismay, Feliks Waldoch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Feliks Waldoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Pochorylo having to interfere. Bogdan Golaszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Bronkala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Danisiewicz in the 79th minute of play forced Sośnica Gliwice's goalkeeper Leonard Pochorylo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Pochorylo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Danisiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Feliks Waldoch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
