But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stasio Moczkiewicz couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Napoleon Trela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Rzeszutko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Napoleon Trela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Szczepan Kuszczak charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Szczepan Kuszczak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Bayern Munchen getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Szczepan Kuszczak hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Napoleon Trela made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Gutkowo's Aleksander Zacharzewski got a free kick in the 54th minute. Napoleon Trela struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Zygmunt Rzeszutko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bayern Munchen. After a rather tough play, FC Gutkowo's Aleksander Zacharzewski got a free kick in the 89th minute. Stasio Moczkiewicz's late challenge caught a FC Gutkowo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stasio Moczkiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, FC Bayern Munchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasio Moczkiewicz to maneuver through the defense.
