Živorad Vučetić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zygmunt Skaradoski in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon Trac in the 19th minute of play forced Bydgoszczanka's goalkeeper Živorad Vučetić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Živorad Vučetić successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Patryk Miazga charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patryk Miazga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bydgoszczanka getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Patryk Miazga hit a great ball. Živorad Vučetić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Rzegotka in the 34th minute of the match. Fryderyk Makowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Živorad Vučetić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Leper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jurand Leper made a kick off. Fryderyk Jekot hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bydgoszczanka's Arkadiusz Marczyniec got a free kick in the 54th minute. Witomir Matela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Patryk Miazga took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Zula Dzierwa to make any attempt to save it. 76 minutes into the match, Bydgoszczanka's goal looked a bit too open when Izydor Rzegotka came free, but Živorad Vučetić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Napoleon Trac struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Živorad Vučetić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mierki SSA. In the 92nd minute, Izydor Rzegotka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Živorad Vučetić was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Jurand Leper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mierki SSA were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
