With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zula Dzierwa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the match, Biała Gwiazda's goal looked a bit too open when Izydor Rzegotka came free, but Leonard Brudzisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Leper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Michal Milan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Biała Gwiazda's goalkeeper Leonard Brudzisz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wlodzimierz Purzycki. Biała Gwiazda's Leonard Brudzisz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Nigbor in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Argyris Bikopoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zula Dzierwa. Mierki SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Argyris Bikopoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Leonard Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurand Leper in the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Wlodzimierz Purzycki could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Leonard Brudzisz however easily saved by the left post. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Marcin Wielowiejski sped through Mierki SSA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zula Dzierwa. In the 35th minute, Marcin Wielowiejski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute Marcin Wielowiejski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Dzierwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Marcin Wielowiejski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zula Dzierwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Bejrut in the 44th minute of play. Zula Dzierwa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Wielowiejski, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. David Oton might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zula Dzierwa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Oton ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Biała Gwiazda were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jurand Leper to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Marcin Wielowiejski notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Mierki SSA's Zula Dzierwa. Zula Dzierwa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute David Oton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Dzierwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcin Wielowiejski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Zula Dzierwa made a huge save. When Janusz Pruss fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Biała Gwiazda's protests and gave Janusz Pruss a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mierki SSA booed when Biała Gwiazda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Pruss didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 minutes, Marcin Wielowiejski made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Mierki SSA's Zula Dzierwa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Biała Gwiazda played a much better game than Mierki SSA and deserved their victory. The Mierki SSA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
