The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mościska GRM's Radoslaw Dobrzechowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigiusz Glapiak in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mościska GRM defense, Janusz Sienkiewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radoslaw Dobrzechowski. The Mościska GRM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radoslaw Dobrzechowski should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Kaczeniak in the 22nd minute of play forced Mościska GRM's goalkeeper Radoslaw Dobrzechowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krzysztof Kochanowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pawel Tylenda made a kick off. Radoslaw Dobrzechowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Kaczeniak in the 54th minute. Krzysztof Kochanowicz hit a great ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Pawel Tylenda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mościska GRM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pawel Tylenda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Galaxy Tarnów walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
