The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

A collision led to FC Guardian getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Roland Birkenhagen hit a great ball. The FC Guardian fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After some careless play in the FC Guardian defense, Zbyszko Skrzypiec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanislaw Nikodemski. The FC Guardian fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanislaw Nikodemski should have stopped the shot. In the 70th match minute, FC Guardian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mieszko Pisarczyk to maneuver through the defense. Stanislaw Nikodemski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Skrzypiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Gozdowski in the 97th minute of play forced Space Cowboys's goalkeeper Piotr Sniegowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Guardian were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Space Cowboys's much stronger midfield.
