Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) LKS Lot Balice's Artur Wolnik started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Artur Wolnik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Witold Warka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. The LKS Lot Balice fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when LKS Lot Balice's Wladyslaw Noworolnik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 16th minute, Andrzej Jaszyna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Detonator Kierzków's zone, Artur Wolnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witold Warka came out of the goal and Artur Wolnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dariusz Rakiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Mochadlo in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Detonator Kierzków's Juliusz Mochadlo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Robert Olejarz struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Dariusz Rakiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Detonator Kierzków. 37 minutes into the match, Wladyslaw Noworolnik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Witold Warka. Detonator Kierzków's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wladyslaw Noworolnik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ksawery Tarasek hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Dariusz Rakiewicz came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Detonator Kierzków's Juliusz Mochadlo. But to his dismay, Juliusz Mochadlo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With a little luck, LKS Lot Balice's Dariusz Rakiewicz got control of the ball when Andrzej Jaszyna tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Andrzej Jaszyna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dariusz Rakiewicz. The goal made the score 3-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juliusz Mochadlo during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of LKS Lot Balice booed when Detonator Kierzków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Mochadlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wladyslaw Noworolnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witold Warka having to interfere. Juliusz Mochadlo was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Detonator Kierzków's Juliusz Mochadlo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Artur Wolnik took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Witold Warka. Witold Warka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. After having played for 66 minutes, Andrzej Jaszyna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Detonator Kierzków's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrzej Jaszyna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michal Piszczor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dariusz Rakiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andrzej Jaszyna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Detonator Kierzków booed when LKS Lot Balice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Jakisz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Andrzej Jaszyna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dariusz Rakiewicz was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When Miromir Jarmulowicz fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Detonator Kierzków's protests and gave Miromir Jarmulowicz a yellow card for diving instead. Miromir Jarmulowicz hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Artur Wolnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ksawery Tarasek kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Witold Jakisz's late challenge caught a Detonator Kierzków's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Witold Jakisz helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes LKS Lot Balice got a freekick which was hit by Witold Jakisz. LKS Lot Balice's Herbert Domaracki was substituted for Wladyslaw Noworolnik. In the 90th match minute, LKS Lot Balice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Jakisz to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Detonator Kierzków's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Domaracki came free, but Witold Warka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The LKS Lot Balice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LKS Lot Balice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
