The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC INTERNAZIONALE ZABRZE's zone, Marcin Fudalej stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walery Kaczor came out of the goal and Marcin Fudalej tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, FC INTERNAZIONALE ZABRZE's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Gendolla came free, but Walery Kaczor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zenon Gendolla took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walery Kaczor. Walery Kaczor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zenon Gendolla to make the kick off. FC INTERNAZIONALE ZABRZE's Waldemar Nakoneczny managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Damian Zagrobelny in the 57 minute of the game. In the 60th minute Robert Wisniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waclaw Zawaski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zenon Gendolla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walery Kaczor was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Walery Kaczor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Gendolla in the 64th minute of the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Zenon Gendolla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC INTERNAZIONALE ZABRZE's Walery Kaczor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zenon Gendolla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walery Kaczor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. FC INTERNAZIONALE ZABRZE's Florian Klejnowski got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Waclaw Zawaski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Winograd, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Arkadiusz Winograd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waclaw Zawaski having to make a save. Waclaw Zawaski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Klejnowski in the 83rd minute of play. If Zenon Gendolla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walery Kaczor didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. If Marcin Fudalej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
