In the 28th match minute, Detonator Kierzków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Mochadlo to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes Detonator Kierzków's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zygmunt Niezywy who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Zygmunt Niezywy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Detonator Kierzków's Witold Warka did a great save. 34 minutes in the game Zbyszek Rzentkowski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Stanislaw Siekierka. Edward Wnukowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Jarmulowicz in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Górnik Wesoła booed when Detonator Kierzków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszek Rzentkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Piszczor in the 43rd minute of play forced Górnik Wesoła's goalkeeper Edward Wnukowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Michal Piszczor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Wnukowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juliusz Mochadlo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half Detonator Kierzków were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maciej Barys was the one to do the kick off. Maciej Barys scored 1-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Witold Warka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57thth minute of the game Damazy Jucha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Detonator Kierzków's Witold Warka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andrzej Jaszyna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Górnik Wesoła's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Piszczor came free, but Edward Wnukowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Witold Warka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Barys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute of the match Robert Olejarz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edward Wnukowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Miromir Jarmulowicz hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Edward Wnukowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Jarmulowicz in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Juliusz Mochadlo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Edward Wnukowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Detonator Kierzków walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
