The corner led Detonator Kierzków's Robert Olejarz to fire away a dangerous shot which Waclaw Zawaski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Andrzej Jaszyna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Witold Warka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Gendolla in the 42nd minute of play. Marcin Fudalej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Witold Warka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute of the match Ulryk Pinczewski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Witold Warka skillfully saved the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Detonator Kierzków's Kryspin Paciuszko got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Ulryk Pinczewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Jaszyna in the 78th minute of play forced AKS Mikołów's goalkeeper Waclaw Zawaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrzej Jaszyna in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waclaw Zawaski saved AKS Mikołów from getting behind. Detonator Kierzków were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AKS Mikołów for a fine match.
