When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Artur Wolnik sped through AKS Mikołów's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Waclaw Zawaski. Dariusz Rakiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Dunajski, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. LKS Lot Balice's Dariusz Rakiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save LKS Lot Balice from getting a goal against them. AKS Mikołów's Waclaw Zawaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Chrobak in the 38th minute of play. Damian Zagrobelny charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Zagrobelny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, AKS Mikołów's Damian Zagrobelny got a free kick in the 39th minute. Zenon Gendolla was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 48th minute. AKS Mikołów's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artur Wolnik was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Norbert Chrobak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waclaw Zawaski. Norbert Chrobak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 60th minute of the match Ulryk Pinczewski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dariusz Rakiewicz skillfully saved the ball. LKS Lot Balice's Dariusz Rakiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Fudalej in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in LKS Lot Balice's zone, Zenon Gendolla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dariusz Rakiewicz came out of the goal and Zenon Gendolla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AKS Mikołów's Waclaw Zawaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Chrobak in the 70th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wladyslaw Noworolnik during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wladyslaw Noworolnik hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Waclaw Zawaski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Chrobak in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Zenon Gendolla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Rakiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the LKS Lot Balice defense, Zenon Gendolla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dariusz Rakiewicz. The LKS Lot Balice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dariusz Rakiewicz should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute, Pankracy Dunajski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AKS Mikołów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 88 minutes into the game, Norbert Chrobak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Waclaw Zawaski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. LKS Lot Balice's Herbert Domaracki was substituted for Wladyslaw Noworolnik. Herbert Domaracki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
