The Lubuszanin Trzcianka fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Lubuszanin Trzcianka's Ignacy Piglowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 30th minute, Ludomil Piesciuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lubuszanin Trzcianka's Bernard Merski got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of GKS Katowice booed when Lubuszanin Trzcianka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Kojder didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lubuszanin Trzcianka getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Kajetan Fujarczuk hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lubuszanin Trzcianka's Ignacy Piglowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tobiasz Pierz. That made the score 2-3 after 73 minutes of play. Feliks Fleischer hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Zbyszek Warka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 83 minutes, Bernard Merski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lubuszanin Trzcianka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Merski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacy Piglowski got free with Tobiasz Pierz in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lubuszanin Trzcianka's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
