The goalkeeper, Maciej Koperski, was totally fooled by Niespusza's Michal Podolski, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The supporters of Nowopole booed when Niespusza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Balkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nowopole's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
