The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Husaria Dukla's Feliks Kaczanek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Ziemba in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Stogniewice SA's goalkeeper Radoslaw Adamus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugeniusz Bochinski. When Cyprian Dudek fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Husaria Dukla's protests and gave Cyprian Dudek a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Husaria Dukla getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cyprian Dudek hit a great ball. Ryszard Murdza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Radoslaw Adamus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliks Kaczanek came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Stogniewice SA's Stanislaw Kon. But to his dismay, Stanislaw Kon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 17th minute of the match Juliusz Siwek sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliks Kaczanek skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Husaria Dukla's zone, Radoslaw Ziemba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliks Kaczanek came out of the goal and Radoslaw Ziemba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Gongolewicz in the 20th minute of play forced Husaria Dukla's goalkeeper Feliks Kaczanek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislaw Kon kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Stogniewice SA booed when Husaria Dukla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Murdza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stogniewice SA's zone, Eugeniusz Bochinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radoslaw Adamus came out of the goal and Eugeniusz Bochinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Husaria Dukla's Iwo Tomiczek got a free kick in the 27th minute. Wieslaw Gongolewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Feliks Kaczanek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radoslaw Adamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Bochinski in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Ludomir Kilar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stogniewice SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Wawrzyniec Cerocki took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliks Kaczanek. Feliks Kaczanek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Bochinski in the 46th minute of play forced Stogniewice SA's goalkeeper Radoslaw Adamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugeniusz Bochinski to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Wieslaw Gongolewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Kaczanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Wawrzyniec Cerocki took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Feliks Kaczanek to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominik Skaradowski during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dominik Skaradowski hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Dominik Skaradowski made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Stanislaw Kon immediately put the ball in play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Lucjan Bejger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Husaria Dukla's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Bejger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radoslaw Adamus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Lucjan Bejger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radoslaw Adamus was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Ludomir Kilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Stogniewice SA's Radoslaw Ziemba in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ryszard Murdza got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The long shot by Ludomir Kilar in the 95th minute really tested Feliks Kaczanek's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
