Bogdan Kociniewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Soliwoda in the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in MZKS Chrobry GLOGOW's zone, Jura Loje stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Takis Livaris came out of the goal and Jura Loje tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Juliusz Soliwoda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROMEX STAR FC's Bogdan Kociniewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bogdan Kociniewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziemowit Fronczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, ROMEX STAR FC's Takis Livaris threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zachary Hludzenski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bogdan Kociniewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Soliwoda in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Zachary Hludzenski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Takis Livaris, 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, ROMEX STAR FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juliusz Soliwoda came free, but Bogdan Kociniewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juliusz Soliwoda was the one to do the kick off.
