In the 6th minute, Potyry's Olaf Kluczyk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfred Olchowy. Alfred Olchowy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Czeslaw Januszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Kazimierz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Robert Ikalewicz fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ziemiary's protests and gave Robert Ikalewicz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Potyry booed when Ziemiary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Ikalewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olaf Kluczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Potyry getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jedrzej Lato hit a great ball. Fabian Zielinski charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Zielinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Potyry fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Hieronim Rutkowski hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Alfred Olchowy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olaf Kluczyk's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Potyry's Zachariasz Wykowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfred Olchowy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Zachariasz Wykowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakub Mentis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Robert Frankowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ziemiary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potyry the free kick. A collision led to Ziemiary getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Robert Frankowski hit a great ball. Zachariasz Wykowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Olchowy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Alfred Olchowy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariasz Wykowski in the 64th minute of play. Alfred Olchowy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Kluczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Zachariasz Wykowski put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alfred Olchowy. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Zachariasz Wykowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potyry's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachariasz Wykowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Olchowy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jedrzej Lato during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Zachariasz Wykowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Olaf Kluczyk came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Potyry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Kluczyk couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ziemiary's Jakub Mentis got a free kick in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olaf Kluczyk in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Olchowy saved Ziemiary from getting behind. Robert Frankowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zachariasz Wykowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Olchowy having to interfere. Ziemiary's Alfred Olchowy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachariasz Wykowski in the 95th minute of play. Alfred Olchowy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Kluczyk in the 97th minute of the match. Ziemiary's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
