In the 4th minute Konrad Olender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Skoroda in the 20th minute of play forced Angel from Heroes's goalkeeper Dawid Nakoneczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcin Robak hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Mieszko Wyrostek struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Ziemowit Petka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angel from Heroes. Bogdan Bejgier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ziemowit Petka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel from Heroes were furious when Ryszard Lepucki was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 27 minutes into the game, one of Angel from Heroes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Konrad Olender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Angel from Heroes's Roman Sadlowski got a free kick in the 35th minute. Dawid Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Skoroda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wlodzimierz Skoroda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliks Szotek was the one to do the kick off. Dawid Nakoneczny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grzegorz Olszewski went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Dawid Nakoneczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Skoroda in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Angel from Heroes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Blochowiak to maneuver through the defense. Wlodzimierz Skoroda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dawid Nakoneczny came out and tried to block the shot, but Wlodzimierz Skoroda slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 75th minute. If Grzegorz Olszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the match, Feliks Szotek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ziemowit Petka. STAL MIELEC SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliks Szotek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Wlodzimierz Skoroda hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, Feliks Szotek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Ziemowit Petka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. STAL MIELEC SA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
