When Tanek Lewicki fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kisielów SA's protests and gave Tanek Lewicki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Tanek Lewicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Kisielów SA's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Skoroda came free, but Pankracy Cetnar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ziemowit Petka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Lewicki in the 12th minute of the match. Ziemowit Petka made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Walery Kornatowski sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 22 minutes, Wlodzimierz Skoroda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STAL MIELEC SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wlodzimierz Skoroda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Walery Kornatowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ziemowit Petka to make any attempt to save it. Walery Kornatowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Ziemowit Petka made a huge save. Dariusz Mitus kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Pankracy Cetnar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Olszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Kisielów SA's zone, Grzegorz Olszewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Cetnar came out of the goal and Grzegorz Olszewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Kisielów SA getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dariusz Mitus hit a great ball. Grzegorz Olszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Cetnar having to interfere. Walery Kornatowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ziemowit Petka made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, Kisielów SA's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Olszewski came free, but Pankracy Cetnar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wlodzimierz Skoroda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grzegorz Olszewski struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Pankracy Cetnar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STAL MIELEC SA. In the 49th minute, Dariusz Mitus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 50th minute Wlodzimierz Skoroda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Cetnar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wlodzimierz Skoroda to strike the kick off in the second half.
