Dobromir Orszak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Roman Jakubiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 6 played minutes Grasslands got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Sienkowski. In the 7th minute, Leonard Barowicz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Grasslands's Roman Jakubiak didn't even have to move. During the 8th minute of the match Witomir Sienkowski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Witomir Sienkowski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 9th match minute, Grasslands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witomir Sienkowski to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Grasslands's Roch Oryl got a free kick in the 13th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Leonard Barowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Madr id's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Barowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Grasslands booed when Atletico Madr id was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Mielak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Grasslands's Stanislaw Kojder made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbyszek Winograd was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 32 minutes, Leonard Barowicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Madr id and the Grasslands players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Leonard Barowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Orszak in the 35th minute of play forced Grasslands's goalkeeper Roman Jakubiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th match minute, Atletico Madr id was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Mielak to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Atletico Madr id's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Lewandowski came free, but Zbyszek Winograd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Cetnar during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Grasslands got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Cetnar. Grasslands's Roman Jakubiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobromir Orszak in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugon Glogowski was the one to do the kick off. Stanislaw Kojder hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Wlodzimierz Lewandowski charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wlodzimierz Lewandowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Grasslands getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Lewandowski hit a great ball. 2-0 became the score in the 58th minute when Hugon Glogowski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Zachariasz Fafinski kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Atletico Madr id got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Fafinski. Zbyszek Winograd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugon Glogowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Grasslands's Boruc Kalemba was substituted for Stanislaw Kojder. After 90 minutes, Boruc Kalemba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grasslands and the Atletico Madr id players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Dobromir Orszak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Grasslands's Roman Jakubiak got control of the ball when Wladyslaw Spychalski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Atletico Madr id defense, Boruc Kalemba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbyszek Winograd. The Atletico Madr id fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbyszek Winograd should have stopped the shot. The Grasslands players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
