The referee ignored Leobschütz SSA's protests and gave Slawomir Cichewski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Witomir Giertych hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Janusz Burdzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After 76th play minutes Jerzy Tomporowski shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Zbyszko Glapiak and just under the crossbar into goal. Jerzy Tomporowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leobschütz SSA's Zbyszko Glapiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Tomporowski in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 played minutes Leobschütz SSA got a freekick which was hit by Roland Dzerwucki.
