An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Konieczny in the 9th minute of play forced Warsaw Coyotes's goalkeeper Kajetan Lampe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th match minute, Warsaw Coyotes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Dembowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Stanislaw Literski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Sebastian Lindqvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rafal Bobrowski. The goal made the score 1-0. When Zygmunt Konieczny came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Widzew łodz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zygmunt Konieczny couldn't finish the play. Rafal Bobrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Sebastian Lindqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Warsaw Coyotes's Iwo Ogrodowicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafal Bobrowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Sebastian Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. Kajetan Lampe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Rybak in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Warsaw Coyotes's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Konieczny came free, but Kajetan Lampe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kajetan Lampe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaw Literski, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Warsaw Coyotes's Kajetan Lampe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Dziedziak in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iwo Ogrodowicz to make the kick off. Kajetan Lampe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Raszkiewicz in the 55th minute of the match. After 57 minutes of play, Warsaw Coyotes's Sebastian Lindqvist made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafal Bobrowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Lindqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafal Bobrowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Lindqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the game, Stanislaw Literski lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Kajetan Lampe. In the 70th minute Honorato Martxelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Bobrowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4-1 became the score in the 73rd minute when Iwo Ogrodowicz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klement Witkowski during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Warsaw Coyotes got a freekick which was hit by Klement Witkowski. After 80 played minutes Widzew łodz got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Falkowski. 83 minutes into the game, Warsaw Coyotes's Honorato Martxelin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafal Bobrowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. If Stanislaw Literski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Widzew łodz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maciej Falkowski to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Widzew łodz's zone, Sebastian Lindqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafal Bobrowski came out of the goal and Sebastian Lindqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Warsaw Coyotes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
