The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Warsaw Coyotes got a corner. Gwardia Koszalin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruben Pio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Honorato Martxelin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabian Jakubiak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Honorato Martxelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Fabian Jakubiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ruperto Aguilera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Honorato Martxelin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fabian Jakubiak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute, Ruperto Aguilera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kajetan Lampe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Sebastian Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fabian Jakubiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Gwardia Koszalin got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Burileanu. In the 21st minute Sebastian Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Jakubiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zdzislaw Pryputnicki hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Honorato Martxelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Jakubiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Jakubiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Sebastian Lindqvist took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Jakubiak. Fabian Jakubiak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Sebastian Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Martxelin in the 36th minute of play forced Gwardia Koszalin's goalkeeper Fabian Jakubiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Iwo Ogrodowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Jakubiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Lindqvist in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iwo Ogrodowicz made a kick off. Przemyslaw Maziarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Lindqvist was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Warsaw Coyotes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Iwo Ogrodowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fabian Jakubiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Jakubiak was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Iwo Ogrodowicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iwo Ogrodowicz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Robert Mazurkiewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kajetan Lampe having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Iwo Ogrodowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warsaw Coyotes's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwo Ogrodowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Jakubiak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Mazurkiewicz in the 75th minute of play forced Warsaw Coyotes's goalkeeper Kajetan Lampe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gwardia Koszalin booed when Warsaw Coyotes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Niziolek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Robert Mazurkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Lampe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Gheorghe Burileanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kajetan Lampe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 81 minutes into the match, Warsaw Coyotes's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Aguilera came free, but Kajetan Lampe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kajetan Lampe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Mazurkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes Warsaw Coyotes got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Pryputnicki. Gwardia Koszalin's Gheorghe Burileanu got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Warsaw Coyotes's Iwo Ogrodowicz got a free kick in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Warsaw Coyotes's zone, Ruperto Aguilera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kajetan Lampe came out of the goal and Ruperto Aguilera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Warsaw Coyotes played a much better game than Gwardia Koszalin and deserved their victory. The Gwardia Koszalin players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
