Iwo Niewiadomski lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Rude Rydze's Iwo Niewiadomski got a free kick in the 18th minute. Izydor Sobczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Kapinos in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Radomir Kapinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izydor Sobczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcin Dziatkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Piraci z Sosnowca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Hajto to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Piraci z Sosnowca's Barnaba Siekierski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Izydor Sobczak. That made the score 1-0 after 43 minutes of play. Radomir Kapinos charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radomir Kapinos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Radomir Kapinos hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
