An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Giertych in the 12th minute of play forced Gloria victis's goalkeeper Antoni Kordalewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Kordalewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Gabis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugeniusz Merski hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Tanek Lichorobiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Kordalewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Waldemar Polakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Tomaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Teofil Giertych ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antoni Kordalewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Antoni Kordalewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stasio Gorzkiewicz in the 29th minute of the match. Janusz Tomaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Nieuzyla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Florian Redisz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Teofil Giertych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Kordalewski having to interfere. If Jerzy Nieuzyla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes of play, Gloria victis's Florian Redisz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janusz Tomaka was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute of the match, Jakub Gabis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antoni Kordalewski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gloria victis's Antoni Kordalewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Giertych in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Florian Redisz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gloria victis's supporters rose to their feet, but Florian Redisz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janusz Tomaka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antoni Kordalewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Giertych in the 81st minute of play. When Jerzy Nieuzyla came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Gloria victis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerzy Nieuzyla couldn't finish the play. Janusz Wielgopolski charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Janusz Wielgopolski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Gloria victis got a freekick which was hit by Janusz Wielgopolski. Antoni Kordalewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Giertych, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Teofil Giertych hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Szombry's goalkeeper Janusz Tomaka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
