In the 16th minute, Zbyszko Fetor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute Korneliusz Wiatrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Endira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wickerau SA's Korneliusz Wiatrak got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franciszek Zagrobelny received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leszek Zdeb came out and tried to block the shot, but Franciszek Zagrobelny slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 22nd minute. Franciszek Zagrobelny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leszek Zdeb having to interfere. Korneliusz Wiatrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Arturo Endira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Wisła Kraków booed when Wickerau SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Grajewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leszek Zdeb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franciszek Zagrobelny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jurand Olchawa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Arturo Endira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Franciszek Zagrobelny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Zbyszko Fetor took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leszek Zdeb. Leszek Zdeb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Wickerau SA's Leszek Zdeb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franciszek Zagrobelny in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Borys Bugno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wisła Kraków's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wickerau SA the free kick. A collision led to Wisła Kraków getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Borys Bugno hit a great ball. Leszek Zdeb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Fetor in the 65th minute of the match. Franciszek Zagrobelny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leszek Zdeb having to interfere. Zbyszko Fetor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leszek Zdeb having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Franciszek Zagrobelny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wisła Kraków's supporters rose to their feet, but Franciszek Zagrobelny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leszek Zdeb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korneliusz Wiatrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Wisła Kraków's Arturo Endira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Wiatrak in the 88th minute of play. Leszek Zdeb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Fetor in the 90th minute of play. Zbyszko Fetor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leszek Zdeb having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jurand Olchawa got free with Arturo Endira in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jurand Olchawa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wisła Kraków walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
