The Widrinnen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 44 minutes, Zbyszek Grocholski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Widrinnen and the Tornado Tychy players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Widrinnen getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Zbyszek Grocholski hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bogumil Sebzda was the one to do the kick off. Tolek Borowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Waclaw Buczak in the 80th minute of play forced Widrinnen's goalkeeper Tolek Borowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolek Borowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Oleszak in the 85th minute of the match. Lukasz Wolicki scored 4-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tolek Borowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Widrinnen's Tolek Borowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Wolicki in the 94th minute of play. Tornado Tychy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
