Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kryspin Brudnicki kicked off to start the match. Leonard Kosowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krzysztof Fink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Bzura Łódź's Ludomir Zdeb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugeniusz Huk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 7 minutes, Ludomir Zdeb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bzura Łódź's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludomir Zdeb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludomir Zdeb in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugeniusz Huk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 played minutes Kryspin Brudnicki rounded Flying Hollender's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. The supporters of Flying Hollender booed when Bzura Łódź was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Swoboda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Lech Jerzyk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonard Kosowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 26 minutes into the game, Wladyslaw Resel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bzura Łódź's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flying Hollender the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bzura Łódź's Wladyslaw Resel got a free kick in the 26th minute. A collision led to Flying Hollender getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Krzysztof Fink hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Flying Hollender's zone, Kryspin Brudnicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugeniusz Huk came out of the goal and Kryspin Brudnicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kryspin Brudnicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Lech Jerzyk made the kick off in the second half. Eugeniusz Huk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kryspin Brudnicki in the 55th minute of the match. Ludomir Zdeb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugeniusz Huk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Eugeniusz Huk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Brudnicki in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Kryspin Brudnicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Eugeniusz Huk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kryspin Brudnicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Korneliusz Zaremba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Flying Hollender's zone, Ludomir Zdeb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugeniusz Huk came out of the goal and Ludomir Zdeb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugeniusz Huk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomir Zdeb, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Damian Raszek hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Flying Hollender's Lech Jerzyk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonard Kosowski. Leonard Kosowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. After 94 played minutes Flying Hollender got a freekick which was hit by Korneliusz Zaremba. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bzura Łódź had played much better football throughout.
