Ryszard Topolski did an outstanding performance 4 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Szczepan Gibowski in the goal. A collision led to Podlodówek getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Kazimierz Dziuma hit a great ball. Olgierd Golob kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Olgierd Golob made a precise shot to the right of Szczepan Gibowski. Podlodówek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 19 minutes, Ludomir Skrzypiec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lutomierz SSA and the Podlodówek players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lutomierz SSA getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ludomir Skrzypiec hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Hejza in the 23rd minute of play forced Podlodówek's goalkeeper Szczepan Gibowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Olgierd Golob cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Szczepan Gibowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ludomir Pliszka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomasz Kopacz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ryszard Topolski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Podlodówek defense, Ludomir Pliszka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Szczepan Gibowski. The Podlodówek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Szczepan Gibowski should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Lutomierz SSA booed when Podlodówek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lech Piechocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Podlodówek's goal looked a bit too open when Olgierd Golob came free, but Szczepan Gibowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludomir Pliszka was the one to do the kick off. Olgierd Golob recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Olgierd Golob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ludomir Skrzypiec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lutomierz SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludomir Skrzypiec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Szczepan Gibowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludomir Pliszka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Gibowski having to interfere. Lutomierz SSA's Zachary Mudry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Penczkowski in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, Lutomierz SSA's Olgierd Golob made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Szczepan Gibowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Lech Piechocki fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Podlodówek's protests and gave Lech Piechocki a yellow card for diving instead. Szczepan Gibowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludomir Pliszka's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Olgierd Golob managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lutomierz SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Olgierd Golob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Szczepan Gibowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lutomierz SSA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
