The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Nytych SA getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ksawery Drozdowski hit a great ball. Dobromir Dudek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Pincoski, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Dobromir Dudek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Wisniewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Miedzyrzec SA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Logewnik came free, but Dobromir Dudek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nytych SA's Leon Pincoski got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Nytych SA's goal looked a bit too open when Wladyslaw Penc came free, but Remigiusz Gierlach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Wladyslaw Penc fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miedzyrzec SA's protests and gave Wladyslaw Penc a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Miedzyrzec SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Jazwiec to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miedzyrzec SA's goalkeeper Dobromir Dudek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Daniel Logewnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacek Jazwiec kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Szymon Mockiewicz took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dobromir Dudek. Dobromir Dudek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 45th minute, Olgierd Wisniewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Nytych SA fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Nytych SA's Szymon Mockiewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Nytych SA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Miedzyrzec SA booed when Nytych SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Walkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Bernard Dziedziak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigiusz Gierlach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 74 minutes on the clock, Michal Skaradoski commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Szymon Mockiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernard Dziedziak's late challenge caught a Nytych SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Dziedziak helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Logewnik got free with Dobromir Dudek in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dobromir Dudek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Wisniewski in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute Szymon Mockiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobromir Dudek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wladyslaw Penc might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remigiusz Gierlach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wladyslaw Penc ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Leon Pincoski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nytych SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Pincoski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dobromir Dudek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98th minute, Nytych SA's Szymon Mockiewicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nytych SA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
