FC Ba2a's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maksymilian Zbytniewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Ponikwa defense, Witold Domamir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kazimierz Zagrobelny. The Ponikwa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kazimierz Zagrobelny should have stopped the shot. Robert Gargasz took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignacy Kempski. Ignacy Kempski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Wiktor Kaczorowski struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Ignacy Kempski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ponikwa. 19 minutes into the game, Wiktor Kaczorowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ignacy Kempski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ponikwa's Kazimierz Zagrobelny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Ponikwa from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Maksymilian Zbytniewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Olgierd Wasikowski came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Ponikwa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olgierd Wasikowski couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Kaczorowski in the 41st minute of play forced FC Ba2a's goalkeeper Ignacy Kempski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiktor Kaczorowski in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignacy Kempski saved FC Ba2a from getting behind. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boleslaw Walkowski to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kalu Meléndez during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Ba2a getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Boleslaw Walkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Zagrobelny having to interfere. Kazimierz Zagrobelny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Domamir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wiktor Kaczorowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ignacy Kempski made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Wiktor Kaczorowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponikwa's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiktor Kaczorowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
