When Roch Komornicki came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the ®TEK® 1.FC LIB Warszawa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Komornicki couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Zula Okopny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Gabis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Forlano having to interfere. When Robert Gabis fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Madryt's protests and gave Robert Gabis a yellow card for diving instead. Robert Gabis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Zula Okopny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Real Madryt walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
