The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyryl Haskiewicz got free with Kacper Dombrowski in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bernard Polkoski fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Widzew Łódź SSA's protests and gave Bernard Polkoski a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Widzew Łódź SSA got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Polkoski. Arnulfo Galsino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Kacper Dombrowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kacper Dombrowski came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by kabOOm's Edgar Raszek. But to his dismay, Edgar Raszek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Widzew Łódź SSA defense, Mihail Petre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kacper Dombrowski. The Widzew Łódź SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kacper Dombrowski should have stopped the shot. Kacper Dombrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Petre in the 32nd minute of play. The kabOOm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Zawada to make the kick off. But to his dismay, Andrzej Filanowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. There was no doubt that kabOOm were the better team. kabOOm's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
