In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's goalkeeper Mieszko Rukszcz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's Mieszko Rukszcz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Gabis in the 25th minute of play. Tadeusz Zieba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Mudry, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Waldemar Ewertowski charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witold Kazczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47thth minute of the game Napoleon Gabis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's Mieszko Rukszcz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Witold Kazczyk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Alfred Buda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mieszko Rukszcz was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Napoleon Gabis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Napoleon Gabis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Lukasz Dubiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, EBE GKS's Ignác Bihari dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching EBE GKS's performance. The match ended with a win for EBE GKS.
