The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Gruszowiec were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lech Kazimierz made a kick off. Dominik Walczak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wiktor Cwojdak having to make a save. Dominik Walczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wiktor Cwojdak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominik Walczak ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernard Zajac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Kazimierz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominik Walczak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiktor Cwojdak made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Dominik Walczak sent off a good shot on target. Gruszowiec's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ksawery Polkoski in the 77th minute. In the 88th minute Dominik Walczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Cwojdak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
