The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Galena Kielce's Artur Sarnat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Felenak in the 4th minute of play. When Galena Kielce's Witomir Glogowski in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SDW's goalie prevented a goal. Ziemowit Jurgiel came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Galena Kielce's Wincent Borczak. But to his dismay, Wincent Borczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tymoteusz Wolski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziemowit Jurgiel having to interfere. Witomir Glogowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wincent Borczak struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ziemowit Jurgiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galena Kielce. After a rather tough play, SDW's Kryspin Kiepski got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 38th match minute, SDW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wawrzyniec Starogardzki to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Galena Kielce's Waldemar Zakrzewski broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of SDW booed when Galena Kielce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Krupa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ziemowit Jurgiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Glogowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SDW booed when Galena Kielce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartlomiej Raschke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Galena Kielce's Cezary Sitko got a free kick in the 48th minute. The long shot by Edgar Miecznikowski in the 49th minute really tested Artur Sarnat's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lech Felenak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Witomir Glogowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ziemowit Jurgiel made a huge save. In the 53rd minute Galena Kielce were awarded a corner. Waldemar Zakrzewski went to the cornerflag to take it. Waldemar Zakrzewski made a great header on Galena Kielce's corner, it was just that SDW's Ziemowit Jurgiel managed to reach the ball for a save. Artur Sarnat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Felenak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on SDW's corner Edgar Miecznikowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Artur Sarnat quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wincent Borczak in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ziemowit Jurgiel saved SDW from getting behind. Witomir Glogowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziemowit Jurgiel having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Witomir Glogowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galena Kielce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witomir Glogowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galena Kielce's Wincent Borczak managed to work through SDW's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Wincent Borczak dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Ziemowit Jurgiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Borczak in the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SDW's Leszek Kajfasz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Witomir Glogowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziemowit Jurgiel having to interfere. The Galena Kielce players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
