After 18 played minutes ZKS Batalion Bielsko got a freekick which was hit by Leszek Rydzyk. After 22 minutes of play, Władcy Pomorza's Enio Dracena made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeusz Sliwinski was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Milosz Dynda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nico Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Pazura in the 29th minute of play. Wit Rydzewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nico Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mariusz Pazura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Wit Rydzewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Władcy Pomorza's Nico Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Pazura in the 42nd minute of play. ZKS Batalion Bielsko were furious when Bernard Napierkowski was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in ZKS Batalion Bielsko fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
