After 17 minutes of play, Start Pliszczyn's Jan Liberko made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olaf Zacharek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olaf Zacharek was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Jan Liberko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan Liberko really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Liberko in the 24th minute of play forced Drivers Tczew's goalkeeper Olaf Zacharek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Cezary Wojtyna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Olaf Zacharek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olaf Zacharek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Wojtyna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Drivers Tczew's goalkeeper Olaf Zacharek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmund Nienajadlo. With a little luck, Drivers Tczew's Olaf Zacharek got control of the ball when Edmund Nienajadlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Start Pliszczyn's Jan Liberko got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Cezary Wojtyna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olaf Zacharek. Cezary Wojtyna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Liberko to make the kick off. Jan Liberko struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Olaf Zacharek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Start Pliszczyn.
