Percy Vargas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Feliks Fiszer made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Jucha got free with Roland Filipkowski in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute Walery Psotka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Fiszer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
