Zhou Zhen Peng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Sengrat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adamczycha's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leon Milko in the 35th minute. Kong Cheng Xi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Cardozo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Hlonda Boyz's Benedykt Zakrzewski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leon Milko, made in the 38th minute of the game. A collision led to Adamczycha getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Arkadiusz Czerniak hit a great ball. Kong Cheng Xi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Nicolas Cardozo made a huge save. Hlonda Boyz's Kong Cheng Xi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Izydor Turacki to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Izydor Turacki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hlonda Boyz's supporters rose to their feet, but Izydor Turacki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicolas Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Giggs, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute.
