Radoslaw Trojanowski struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Piotr Wyrzykowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pogoń Stawiszyn. Gilbert Podolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Wnukowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute Kazimierz Dylla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Wyrzykowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boruc Ryback. When Tajfun's Witold Wnukowski in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Pogoń Stawiszyn booed when Tajfun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Prokowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Adam Kaznocha got a free kick in the 18th minute. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Wnukowski in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Tajfun's goal looked a bit too open when Bartosz Faron came free, but Piotr Wyrzykowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tajfun's Mikolaj Kochanowski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Witold Gibowski, made in the 22nd minute of the game. 23 minutes into the game, Boruc Ryback recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilbert Podolski. Boruc Ryback showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 26th minute, Konrad Watarz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Radoslaw Trojanowski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tajfun's Piotr Wyrzykowski. Piotr Wyrzykowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute Ryszard Pilipiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Wyrzykowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piotr Wyrzykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslaw Trojanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Tajfun's Piotr Wyrzykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 35th minute of play. Pogoń Stawiszyn were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Tajfun's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radoslaw Trojanowski took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Ryszard Pilipiec managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The Tajfun players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pogoń Stawiszyn were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ryszard Pilipiec to make the kick off. Gilbert Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Ryback in the 53rd minute of play. Tajfun's Piotr Wyrzykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Trojanowski in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tajfun's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Radoslaw Trojanowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Pogoń Stawiszyn's players had a chance to rest. In the 60th minute Ryszard Pilipiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Wyrzykowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tajfun getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Fabian Brudzisz hit a great ball. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Radoslaw Trojanowski got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Tajfun's Piotr Wyrzykowski got control of the ball when Ryszard Pilipiec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Piotr Wyrzykowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Pilipiec in the 76th minute of play. Jacek Kolbe came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Piotr Wyrzykowski could save by the left post. Tajfun's Piotr Wyrzykowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Tajfun from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryszard Pilipiec got free with Piotr Wyrzykowski in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pogoń Stawiszyn were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Tajfun's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radoslaw Trojanowski took the corner. The corner led Pogoń Stawiszyn's Radoslaw Trojanowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Piotr Wyrzykowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Radoslaw Trojanowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Piotr Wyrzykowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Radoslaw Trojanowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 86th minute. Jacek Kolbe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Pilipiec in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Piotr Wyrzykowski saved Tajfun from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Konrad Filanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Radoslaw Trojanowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Piotr Wyrzykowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kazimierz Dylla in the 96th minute.
