Tajfun's Witold Wnukowski got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Drapinski in the 13th minute of play forced Tajfun's goalkeeper Piotr Wyrzykowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kazimierz Augustyn fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tajfun's protests and gave Kazimierz Augustyn a yellow card for diving instead. Piotr Wyrzykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Drapinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to Tajfun getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Witold Wnukowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waldemar Birkenhagen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witold Wnukowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Waldemar Birkenhagen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Wnukowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 36 minutes, Boruc Ryback managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tajfun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boruc Ryback was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Piotr Wyrzykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Jaszyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Jaszyna in the 41st minute of play forced Tajfun's goalkeeper Piotr Wyrzykowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Waldemar Birkenhagen managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Tajfun's Boruc Ryback fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaroslaw Drapinski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikolaj Jaszyna got free with Piotr Wyrzykowski in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 54 played minutes, Tajfun's Lucjan Dresik shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Waldemar Birkenhagen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tajfun reached it. Waldemar Birkenhagen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Ryback in the 56th minute of the match. Witold Wnukowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Waldemar Birkenhagen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Tajfun's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Drapinski came free, but Piotr Wyrzykowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tajfun booed when Beskid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwo Karbowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Beskid's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Wnukowski came free, but Waldemar Birkenhagen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tajfun's Piotr Wyrzykowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Tajfun from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, Tajfun's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Drapinski came free, but Piotr Wyrzykowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piotr Wyrzykowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslaw Drapinski in the 74th minute of the match. In the 74thth minute of the game Jaroslaw Drapinski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tajfun's Piotr Wyrzykowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Witold Wnukowski came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Tajfun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witold Wnukowski couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute Walery Bartelak suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 78 minutes into the game, Boruc Ryback was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tajfun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beskid the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Tajfun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Ryback to maneuver through the defense. Tajfun's Piotr Wyrzykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Drapinski in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Beskid's Jaroslaw Drapinski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Piotr Wyrzykowski. Piotr Wyrzykowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. A collision led to Tajfun getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Lucjan Dresik hit a great ball. Piotr Wyrzykowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Drapinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 played minutes Beskid got a freekick which was hit by Bogumil Nieuzyla. If Jaroslaw Drapinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beskid's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
