The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Piotr Wyrzykowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Wnukowski in the 65th minute of play forced Marathon Kraków's goalkeeper Maciej Smuskiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Marathon Kraków's goalkeeper Maciej Smuskiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boruc Ryback. Piotr Wyrzykowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Zagorski in the 72nd minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Marathon Kraków's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Wnukowski came free, but Maciej Smuskiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Szymon Zagorski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Marathon Kraków were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tajfun to leave the ground with a draw.
