In the 14th minute Géza Kodály shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Jazzy Kraków 2020's goalkeeper Almir Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Dembowski. A collision led to CF Apaches getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mario Mendoza hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ignacy Zarobski managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a rather tough play, CF Apaches's Zbigniew Harendarski got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 44th minute, Rexy Sinuraya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jazzy Kraków 2020 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Dembowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Almir Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Kosakowski in the 51st minute of play. Fryderyk Golembiewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacy Zarobski in the 53rd minute. The supporters of CF Apaches booed when Jazzy Kraków 2020 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wit Piszczor didn't get a good kick on the ball.
