Spectators: 7539 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tadeusz Brataniec kicked off to start the match. When Red Army's Tadeusz Brataniec in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kacpury's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Radomil Smolarek put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jan Jaszynski. In the 10th minute Przemyslaw Okopny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Jaszynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Jaszynski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Smolarek in the 12th minute of the match. Jan Jaszynski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwan Pawlik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Izydor Ludwa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sylwester Piechocki in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Radomil Smolarek made a precise shot to the right of Jan Jaszynski. Kacpury's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Radomil Smolarek scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Jaszynski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th match minute, Kacpury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zula Chuchro to maneuver through the defense. Jan Jaszynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Pawlik in the 26th minute of play. Kacpury's Jan Jaszynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Przemyslaw Okopny in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Red Army booed when Kacpury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ksawery Jaszynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Przemyslaw Okopny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Jaszynski having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Sylwester Piechocki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Izydor Ludwa. That made the score 1-3 in the 42 minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

In the 51st match minute, Red Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslaw Gabis to maneuver through the defense. Iwan Pawlik kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Pawel Dubilas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Izydor Ludwa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Kacpury's Cyprian Siekierski got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Kacpury getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Adam Damazki hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Red Army's Piotr Pleban got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Piechocki in the 74th minute of play forced Red Army's goalkeeper Izydor Ludwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Pawlik in the 76th minute of play forced Kacpury's goalkeeper Jan Jaszynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylwester Piechocki charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sylwester Piechocki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sylwester Piechocki hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Tadeusz Brataniec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Radomil Smolarek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan Jaszynski. That made the score 2-4 in the 79 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Pleban in the 83rd minute of play forced Kacpury's goalkeeper Jan Jaszynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izydor Ludwa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Siekierski, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The Red Army players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
