The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cyprian Bejrut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoslaw Marczyniec in the 6th minute of the match. Witold Hatmans short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Cyprian Bejrut to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd minute, Franciszek Szostak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Julian Marciewicz from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Cyprian Bejrut's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cyprian Bejrut made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Witold Hatman sent off a good shot on target. Cyprian Bejrut was a little too slow when Radoslaw Marczyniec got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. Artur Rutkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Borys Zakrzewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borys Zakrzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Sienkowski in the 36th minute of play. Artur Rutkowski struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Borys Zakrzewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KKS Czarni. Wieslaw Ziemba kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Lech Majdoch's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Borys Zakrzewski on his right side and into the goal. 43 minutes into the game it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radoslaw Marczyniec made a kick off. Radoslaw Marczyniec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyprian Bejrut having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Witold Hatman made a precise shot to the right of Cyprian Bejrut. KKS Czarni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilbert Tylinski during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tiger Team Zabrze booed when KKS Czarni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Mochowak didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoslaw Marczyniec in the 76th minute of play forced KKS Czarni's goalkeeper Cyprian Bejrut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lech Sienkowski came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the KKS Czarni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lech Sienkowski couldn't finish the play. Lech Sienkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Zakrzewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Tiger Team Zabrze players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
