Zbigniew Pietrowiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Bejger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, Częstochovia Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Wennersten to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes Częstochovia Częstochowa got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Tholsson. Zbigniew Pietrowiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Zbigniew Pietrowiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Rzeszutek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Leite's late challenge caught a Częstochovia Częstochowa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Leite helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gunners ARS's Carlos Leite got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the Częstochovia Częstochowa defense, Wit Rzeszutek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbigniew Pietrowiak. The Częstochovia Częstochowa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbigniew Pietrowiak should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute Juliusz Giertych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Pietrowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbigniew Pietrowiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Rzeszutek in the 30th minute of play. Zbigniew Pietrowiak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Leite went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Częstochovia Częstochowa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gunners ARS:s goal. The referee gave Gunners ARS a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maciej Tokarczyk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Częstochovia Częstochowa's Zbigniew Pietrowiak. 0-3. Wit Rzeszutek took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zbigniew Pietrowiak. Zbigniew Pietrowiak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The supporters of Gunners ARS booed when Częstochovia Częstochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vidar Dahlkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maciej Tokarczyk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zbigniew Pietrowiak. Częstochovia Częstochowa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Zbyszko Bejger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wit Rzeszutek to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juliusz Giertych got free with Zbigniew Pietrowiak in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the match, Gunners ARS's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Tholsson came free, but Zachary Majczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Częstochovia Częstochowa's Zbigniew Pietrowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Plech in the 64th minute of play. Wit Rzeszutek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Zbigniew Pietrowiak made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, Wit Rzeszutek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zbigniew Pietrowiak, 0-6. Gunners ARS's Carlos Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Wit Rzeszutek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbigniew Pietrowiak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Częstochovia Częstochowa's Zbigniew Pietrowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Rzeszutek in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Częstochovia Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Leite came free, but Zbigniew Pietrowiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Carlos Leite recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zbigniew Pietrowiak. Carlos Leite showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 89th minute, Gunners ARS's Mieszko Augustyniak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zbigniew Pietrowiak. Zbigniew Pietrowiak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Zbigniew Pietrowiak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miroslaw Wydrych showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 93 minute of play.
