The Stettin fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Stettin's Ali Dem looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Grzegorz Dobilas as he didn't even see the shot coming. Grzegorz Dobilas made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ali Dem sent off a good shot on target. Ali Dem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Adam Fafinski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerzy Markowski was relentless in the 81st minute of the game.
