The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Filip Jandryca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Hodas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Jakisz in the 7th minute of play forced KoLiber's goalkeeper Miromir Rydzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbyszko Hodas made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ibrahim Nezirović sent off a good shot on target. Zbyszko Hodas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Jandryca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gostyczyn SA's Zbyszko Hodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ibrahim Nezirović in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, KoLiber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Jandryca to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, one of KoLiber:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zbyszko Hodas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Jandryca in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Barniszke in the 25th minute of play forced KoLiber's goalkeeper Miromir Rydzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbyszko Hodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Jandryca in the 30th minute of the match. Zbyszko Hodas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Jandryca, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. KoLiber's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After the first half Gostyczyn SA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tolek Jakisz made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Prusek in the 53rd minute of play forced Gostyczyn SA's goalkeeper Zbyszko Hodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Wiktor Scigan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zbyszko Hodas was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Filip Jandryca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Hodas having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, KoLiber's Wiktor Scigan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zbyszko Hodas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Ale Nesta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Wiktor Scigan made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszko Hodas. Gostyczyn SA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gostyczyn SA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
