Stefan Pencs short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Zbyszko Hodas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Décio Nunes in the 11th minute of play forced Latexperiment Kraków's goalkeeper Rony Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Décio Nunes's late challenge caught a Latexperiment Kraków's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
