Wincenty Radziszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Guerrero having to interfere. A collision led to LOTOS WARSZAWA getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ignacy Puszynski hit a great ball. Wawrzyniec Rawa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Tomiczek having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Leif Dalgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Wawrzyniec Rawa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Tomiczek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Tiburcio Guerrero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 25th minute of the match Górny Śląsk SSA got a corner. LOTOS WARSZAWA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wincenty Radziszewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wincenty Radziszewski made a great header on Górny Śląsk SSA's corner, it was just that LOTOS WARSZAWA's Tiburcio Guerrero managed to reach the ball for a save. Zdzislaw Drzewucki was slow to take the kick. During this time LOTOS WARSZAWA's players had a chance to rest. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Górny Śląsk SSA fans cheered their team off the field, for while LOTOS WARSZAWA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
